The route starts within Queen’s Park
Leave the Park by the northern exit onto Queen's Road, turn right and then cross the road into Sherwood Road.
At the end turn right into Pringle Street and at its junction with North Road turn right again. Continue up hill until reaching Romney Walk on the left hand.
Go into Romney walk and at the top by the telephone mast cross over Romney Walk, to join the path leading down Delph Lane to its junction with Accrington Road.
Cross this road at the traffic lights and turn left into Carluke Street, continue to the end and turn left into Burnley Road and cross the road by the zebra crossing.
Continue down Burnley Road and turn right into Gorse Street. After the bridge turn down to the right to gain access on to the Leeds and Liverpool Canal.
Walk along the canal and then leave the towpath at Bridge 103A. Turn left along Eanam crossing over the canal bridge and head towards the traffic lights on Eanam.
Cross Eanam by the traffic lights and then cross over Higher Audley to join the track onto Audley Lane. Follow the lane to go past the Surgery and Strathclyde Road to meet up with Audley Range, adjacent to St Joseph's RC Church.
Cross Audley Range at the traffic lights and then continue up Queens Park Road, to reach the main entrance to Queen Park.
